What's all the hype?
Helping Youth and Parents Excel (HYPE) is a high quality, life-changing child development program providing academic support and life skills to an elite group of Bernard Terrace Elementary students. HYPE exists to support students’ academic performance through after-school tutoring and to create brighter futures through mentoring, character development, cultural enrichment, parent education, and much more.
Monday - Thursday from 3:45-5:45 pm volunteers and staff facilitate:
- homework assistance
- literacy and math tutoring
- cultural enrichment ( yoga, art, gardening, group dance and sports and music lessons)
